Scott T. Marinelli, Undersheriff

  • Distinguish 29 years, 7 months career in Law Enforcement with the Lopatcong Township Police Dept.  Retired after serving 15 years, 7 months as Chief.
  • Served through the ranks as Patrol Officer, Detective and Sergeant. Served over 20 years in a supervisory position.
  • As Chief of Police I acquired and managed multiple State and Federal Grants.
  • Took the Department into the Technology Age by bringing in record management and arrest systems.
  • Manage the growth of the Police Department due to the increase in population, businesses and activity in the Township.
  • Managed fiscally a multimillion dollar budget.
  • Lifelong resident of Warren County.
  • Married for 25 years with 2 children and 3 grandchildren. 

Edward Mirenda, Undersheriff

  • Distinguished 27-year career with the Phillipsburg police Department, retiring as Chief of Police in December 2011.
  • Served through the ranks from Patrol Officer, Patrol Sergeant, Patrol Lieutenant, Detective Lieutenant to his remaining five years as Chief of Police.
  • While serving as Chief implemented the first structured community policing program creating partnerships and a collaborative problem solving model.  This approach of working with residents and providers leveraged federal and state grant dollars to focus working with building trust in the community and solving issues together.
  • As the Chief of Police, fiscally responsible for the more than a three-million-dollar annual budget for the police department.
  • Fiscal oversight with the development of department policy and budgeting helped to bring and leverage resources for the police department and the entire community.
  • Worked for two years as a Corrections Officer with the New Jersey Department of Corrections from July 1982 through July 1984.
  • Lifelong resident of Warren County.
  • Married with five children.

Todd W. Pantuso, Undersheriff

  • Distinguished 30 year career in law enforcement, serving in the capacity of Patrol Officer, Detective, Sergeant and Chief.
  • As Chief of Police, initiated several Community policing programs at no additional cost to the taxpayers
  • Acquired and Managed numerous State and Federal grants
  • Instituted Departmental Policies/Rules and Regulations
  • Served as Crash Investigator on a Local and County level
  • Member of the NJ Traffic Officers Association
  • Member of the NJ DARE Officers Association
  • Volunteer Firefighter in Warren County for over 25 years
  • Deputy Emergency Coordinator
  • 3 children
  • Lifelong resident of Warren County
